Tends to leave us so quickly. I watched The Awakening the other night on Netflix Instant (the best invention of 2009 in my opinion). The film is amazing, acting incredible, and, as amazing films should, made me stop and evaluate my life. It’s amazing and quite sad how we speed our lives up so much with the intent of hurrying and getting to the next thing. It was a great lesson the film taught, and although the ending was bittersweet, it encouraged people the reevaluate themselves and treasure the moments we seem to pass daily.
And, speaking of time, I need a watch. You know, the cell phone is great but negative in that no one cares to carry a watch or time piece near as much. A stranger asks, “what time is it?”, you most likely will reach for your…cell phone, that’s right. So, in the spirit of celebrating time and slowing down I believe I need to to get a new watch.
